As well as a unique habitat for specialised animals and plants, bogs can store huge amounts of rainwater, thus protecting surrounding areas from flooding and lock up vast amounts of carbon, thus helping reduce climate change.
Langlands Moss also provides a space for recreation, bringing the community together no matter the age or occupation.
